THE POSTER

This is the movie's poster. I made it with help from the whole group. Photoshop is a really good tool, too allow you too change and modify pictures too what you want. I wanted the picture too be darker than the original one. I also liked how it has a slight mist over the top of the photo.

This was the picture before it was edited. I thought it was too bright and happy for the movie genre we have. So I changed it and altered it too the picture at the top :) I also added the names, title and the age certificate too make it look more like a poster.

KILLING SCENE

Our choice of location was really important for this scene because we wanted too use the mise-en-scene too really express the fact that the character who is robbed was very wealthy and rich therefor we chose a location that was very grand with silk wallpaper, candles on the wall and a grand piano which is a high ticket item. It makes it obvious too the viewers that the character is very rich and well off. We also dressed our actress in evening clothes too look more of the part. We then put the character in a very beautiful sparkly piece of jewerlly again too single her wealth, and too give a reason why a attacker would rob her.

The next most important thing was too keep from the viewer who the robber was. So we had too choose our angles carefully too constrain the frame so that the camera didn't give away the identity of the thief. This is partly one of the things that thrillers deliver, they deliver the sense of threat and being in the unknown, when you don't know who the person is. The third thing that was really important too us was too use the reflective grand piano. It allowed us too have a  really clever camera angle that looked really beautiful in the light. It added a depth and interest too the work.

Fourthly an finally we choose the black surface because we wanted the hair too be displayed clearly on the surface. This is a plot device, that hair is a key too identifying the woman later on.

THE MASS OF MEN

In the future learn corse that I am doing, one of the weeks came up as a short movie called 'The Mass Of Men' . I found this really interesting and helped me a lot when filming our movie as it made me think about the angles and plot much more.

At the end of the film I started too consider the function of the music, which was very important when coming too the plot and the whole atmosphere of the movie.

I also thought about the actors and casting. It would have cost a very minimal price as there are no famous or pricey actors starring, same with the crew. The location is also going too be a very cheap low cost part of the movie because it's all done in a office, or outside in the streets of London, which is free too film in.

The story of the film is very deep and will make the audience think. This can attract more viewers as if the story has meaning and has truth behind it, they might want too tell others and get others too see. This story could have been close too a real life story, or maybe someone imagination. Whatever the idea came from, it was very powerful and had a lot of thought gone into it. The music and props show that. It would have cost a very minimal amount as well which is good for the makers as it is a low budget film.

PROPS AND CHARACTERS

Before filming we decided too take some pictures of some of the props we used and the costumes we dressed the characters in. This is Ellen and Harvey, who in the movie are the rich parents that get there jewellery stolen, which is believed too by the reason Amberleigh is taken.

The necklace we used is real jewels which makes it much more realistic and looks really professional.

I made a short Flipagram of the photos we took.

DISTRIBUTION: MAKING MY FACEBOOK PAGE

I made a Facebook page to generate advance interest from our target audience and to elicit feedback back from others to help us develop our film. We invited  audiences to comment on 10 Years (our movie). Facebook is good for making the followers feel important. Thanks to web 2.0 technology, the web is now interactive and consumers are often producers.

On my Facebook page, I hope to have regular posts and updates on our progress, photos of shoots, links to a game App, links to our website, Instagram and Twitter pages. We are also planning to put up posters of the film.
